Film Noir
Cosmo Jones (Frank Graham) is a small town man who considers himself a detective after taking a correspondence course. When he visits the nearest big city to offer his services to the police, he stumbles across everything from gang wars to kidnappings. With some great comic personalities in the cast, including Edgar Kennedy and Mantan Moreland, this delightful Monogram comedy was directed by James Tinling (Mr. Moto's Gamble, Charlie Chan in Shanghai) and practically invents the term "Do it yourself detecting!"
