Boris Karloff returns to the scene of the crime as the ubiquitous Mr. Wong. This time, a beautiful Chinese woman has sought Wong's help but ends up dead in his home, killed by a poison dart! She turns out to be Princess Lin Hwa, on a clandestine mission for Chinese forces fighting the Japanese. The only clue to solving her murder is a crumpled note with the name 'Captain J' scrawled across it. For Wong, that might be enough! Also starring Grant Withers and Lotus Long, this potboiler from director William Nigh (Black Dragons) is a fine entry in the Wong series. (BW)
